ACE Utilities Software Windows 10 Support Feb 20th 2017

ACE Utilities Software Release Mar 15th 2013

The ACE FrameWorks Utilities were Released (R07413) Mar 15th 2013. The release included: FWP 12.0.x.x support and modifications to 1 utility. See release details.

ACESEA Environment Package (Documentation & MDL Tool):

The ACESEA Environment Package, which includes a definitive document on ACESEA Environment (setting MicroStation environment variables for the ACE FrameWorks Utilities - revised Mar 15, 2013) & a MDL tool to manage variable ACE_DEF_PATH – enables changing DEF files on the fly was released with R27311. The ACESEA Environment document is the definitive guide to setting up the ACESEA Environment with PDS (PDSHELL) or FWP w/o PDS (standalone) such that applications will startup and function with the desired set of DEF files for proper project, maintenance will be minimized, projects can be added and/or modified with ease. The MDL application can change the ACESEA environment variable ACE_DEF_PATH (general path to Definition files) to any project selected from a user created data file – thereby switching to the DEF files for the project selected “on the fly”.

ACE Utilities - Nine Sets of released Utilities Available for FrameWorks versions FWP 12.0.x.x, FWP 11.0.x.x, FWP 10.0.x.x, FWP 9.0.x.x, FWP 8.0.x.x, FWP 7.1.x.x/7.2.x.x/7.3.x.x, FWP 7.0.x.x (2 sets) & FWP 3.1.x.x/3.2.x.x.

FWP 12.0.x.x: There is currently one set of ACE FrameWorks Utilities for FrameWorks Version 12.0.x.x.

FWP 11.0.x.x: There is currently one set of ACE FrameWorks Utilities for FrameWorks Version 11.0.x.x.

FWP 10.0.x.x: There is currently one set of ACE FrameWorks Utilities for FrameWorks Version 10.0.x.x.

FWP 9.0.x.x: There is currently one set of ACE FrameWorks Utilities for FrameWorks Version 9.0.x.x.

FWP 8.0.x.x: There is currently one set of ACE FrameWorks Utilities for FrameWorks Version 8.0.x.x.

FWP 7.1.x.x/7.2.x.x/7.3.x.x: There is currently one set of ACE FrameWorks Utilities for FrameWorks Version 7.1.x.x/7.2.x.x/7.3.x.x.

FWP 7.0.x.x: There are currently two sets of ACE FrameWorks Utilities for FrameWorks Version 7.0.x.x. There is one set for FWP versions 7.00.00.00 thru 7.00.00.16 - distributed as acefpl7016 (compiled under version 7.00.00.16). There is a second set of utilities for FWP Version 7.00.00.19 & later - distributed as acefpl70 (compiled under version 7.00.00.19). The set distributed as acefpl70 will not work in versions of FWP prior to 7.00.00.19 (a error will be followed by a version mismatch message - ACEVERS.EXE can be utilized to determine correct version for all MA's). The 7.00.00.19 set includes several FPL fixes such as named groups for solids for most applications. For FWP version 7.00.00.16 or earlier the acefpl7016 set must be utilized.

FWP 3.1.x.x/3.2.x.x: There is currently one set of ACE FrameWorks Utilities for FrameWorks Version 3.1.x.x/3.2.x.x.
